The End of Summer...

Since school starts this week, and I am behind on the updates, I will tell of some of the great things we did this summer:

- Summer Basketball (It was a lot of fun to continue playing through some of the summer)
- Tutankhamen Exhibit (It was exciting to finally see all of this stuff in person, I loved it!)
- La Brea Tar Pits (We visited for a short while after we had seen Tutankhamen, didn't see very much, but it was still a very nice place to have visited!)
- Mid-West (We went over for Aunt Rachel's wedding. We drove there in two days, helped get ready for the wedding, visited my Grandma in Wisconsin, while there we also went to see the Packer's Training Camp, It was fun, I saw Brett Favre, and I almost got Mike Sherman's autograph, but he left as soon as I got close, I got only one autograph from a rookie punter, but you never know, he might become famous..., we went back to Minnesota and did some geocaching the last day we were there, and drove back in two days, on the way back we also stayed at Aunt Sherri and Uncle Tom's house, I also got to see baby Joseph, he is so cute!)
- Harry Potter Midnight Release Party (July 16th, 2005. I just had to go...got a wristband from Barnes and Noble at 5 or 6 P.M. and came back at 11 P.M. to get the book. It was very exciting. Got my book at about 1 A.M., I also had gotten one of the boxes that the books came in, read for an hour, and when I woke up that morning, I continued reading it until 8 P.M. that night. I loved the book and I can't wait for the final one to come out!)
- San Diego Zoo (We spent a day walking around and admiring all of the cute, abnormal, and interesting animals)
- Volleyball Camp Week (The week before school, three hours in the morning and two hours at night, all week long...fun, but very tiring.)
- Eldest Book (August 23rd, 2005. I also went to Barnes and Noble to get the Eldest book, as of now, I am still reading it.)
- Geocaching (Throughout the summer, we have continued to geocache, I solved some tough puzzle caches, but haven't visited them yet...as far as I know, Dad has been doing a few early in the mornings and late at night without my knowing, all of a sudden we mysteriously find three or so caches...)

I had a lot of fun this summer, but now it is time for school. I hope it will be just as fun!
