Sarah's Summer Spectacular -- Part I 'My New Job' -- Day 11
Sarah's Summer Spectacular -- Part III 'Basketball' -- Day 7
Sarah's Summer Spectacular -- Part I 'My New Job' -- Day 10
I put some more businesses into the computer, we have about 100 now! I perforated and helped with Options.
Sarah's Summer Spectacular -- Part III 'Basketball' -- Day 6
We got some dribbling goggles. They are pretty annoying. :-) They look like super-hero masks. I put some lightning-bolt stickers on mine, now I look like a real super-hero! We did some more stuff outside while the grade schoolers practiced. We went through some defense and then went inside to help the grade schoolers. They did a couple of drills while we watched.
Sarah's Summer Spectacular -- Part I 'My New Job' -- Day 9
I did the regular stuff. I went canvasing with Giustina at Winchester, we got about 15 businesses. We got the letters written and mailed.
Sarah's Summer Spectacular -- Part III 'Basketball' -- Day 5
The grade school camp started this week. I am only helping out with the morning session because of work. There are about 30 girls. My brother started the boys' camp. The high schoolers (and I) practiced outside for a while, we ran through transition and our C-Hawk offense. Then we went into the weight room.

Sarah's Summer Spectacular -- General -- 'The Broken Car'
The car broke down on the way home from work, first the radio went dead and then the car did. Dad had me steer the car around the corner while he pushed and then we changed places once he got it up the hill. Mom and Aunt Kris picked us up. It was a very interesting experience.
We also watched Nanny McPhee at night, Mom had rented a lot of movies for the weekend.

Sarah's Summer Spectacular -- Part I 'My New Job' -- Day 8
Sarah's Summer Spectacular -- General -- 'Parents' Night Out'
Right after work, I went to church with my brother and sister to help out with the Parents' Night Out. There were a couple of children there. We all played outside for while, then we had pizza, chips, and soda. We played outside some more and then some of us went inside to watch movies. We saw "Cinderella" first and in the middle of "Lady and the Tramp" dad came and picked us up, it was pretty fun.
Sarah's Summer Spectacular -- Part I 'My New Job' -- Day 7
I entered comanies into the computer. Then I spent pretty much the rest of the time folding some brochures for a soccer camp because they wouldn't go through the folder, it was tedious and took forever! Then, I helped put inserts into some newsletters and then later learned how to box Options.
Sarah's Summer Spectacular -- Part III 'Basketball' -- Day 4
We did the basic stuff and we also started doing the core-strengthening drills, they are really tough!

Sarah's Summer Spectacular -- Part I 'My New Job' -- Day 6
Sarah's Summer Spectacular -- Part III 'Basketball' -- Day 3
Sarah's Summer Spectacular -- General -- 'The Flat Tire'
Dad got a flat tire, so we went to Sam's Club to pick him up. We did some shopping and then we left Dad there with the car anyway.
Sarah's Summer Spectacular -- Part I 'My New Job' -- Day 5
I perforated for an hour and then went canvasing with Guistina. She talked and I handed out the packets and collected the business cards. We did 31! We even had to come back to get some more packets. When we were done, Guistina typed the letter and I addressed the envelopes, folded the papers, and stuffed the envelopes.
Sarah's Summer Spectacular -- Part III 'Basketball' -- Day 2
We did some more drills and we started weight-lifting, it was hard, I should weight-lift more often.
Sarah's Summer Spectacular -- Part I 'My New Job' -- Day 4
I started canvasing other businesses with John. He would talk to the people, and give them little packets that had a brochure, a writing pad, a pen, and some M&Ms. I would collect their business cards. We did 20 in an hour. It was pretty neat. When we got back, I hand-wrote a letter to the businesses we visited. Then, I helped out fixing some calendars that had printed out wrong, I took out the misprinted pages and put the good ones in and spiral-bound them by hand because the machine that does it was broken, I also cut the ends of the spiral-binding so that it was the right length and that the calendar wouldn't fall apart.
Sarah's Summer Spectacular -- Part III 'Basketball' -- Day 1
We spent most of basketball practice doing running drills and dribbling drills and stuff like that, it was really tiring, I had to get ready for work there because, there was no time to go back home.
Sarah's Summer Spectacular -- Part II 'San Francisco' -- Day 4
We went back home, it was Father's Day, we gave Dad one of his cards at the hotel, Mom forgot to bring hers. The drive back home seemed shorter than the one to San Francisco. My brother and I both finished the Batman Begins video game. I was glad to be home.
Sarah's Summer Spectacular -- Part II 'San Francisco' -- Day 3
We went to Napa Valley. It was pretty. Mom and Dad went to a lot of wineries and we kids were pretty bored. However, the buildings were beautiful. We went to about 6 or 7 wineries. The last one we went to was Silverado. I spent a lot of time working on my puzzles. We went back to the hotel room and had Subway for supper again.
Sarah's Summer Spectacular -- Part II 'San Francisco' -- Day 2
We walked around the city for a while and looked for some geocaches. Then we went to the Fisherman's Wharf area. We spent a really long time looking for a good space to park. We walked around and tried to get on a cable car, but it was too expensive, then we tried to walk the Golden Gate Bridge, but it was too windy. We drove some more and we went to a park where the San Andres fault runs through, during one earthquake, the ground shifted twenty feet! We saw where the fault is and stood by it. My dad, sister, and I got itchy eyes and runny noses from all the pollen in the area, it made the rest of the day miserable. We drove some more and got to a trail and we hiked about 5-10 minutes to the beach, there weren't many people there, and it was quite neat to be almost alone on that beach, it was pretty, and there was a bunch of seagulls that my brother chased. We went back to the hotel room and had Subway for supper.
Sarah's Summer Spectacular -- Part II 'San Francisco' -- Day 1
We packed this morning and left for San Francisco! We spent the whole day driving, but we played GameCube the whole way there. I solved some puzzles, too. We finally got to the hotel, it was a Hilton that is right next to the Trans-American Pyramid! We ate at a Chinese restaurant, my brother and sister had an allergic reaction to something that they ate.
Sarah's Summer Spectacular -- Part I 'My New Job' -- Day 3
I perforated again today, I also learned how to run the Doc machines. I helped tri-fold some brochures.
Sarah's Summer Spectacular -- Part I 'My New Job' -- Day 2
The second day of my job! I only spent half of the time perforating! (I work from 12:00-5:00) I learned how to use the giganto cutting machine, the folding machine, and the stapling machine. I also learned how to fix paper jams on the Doc machines. It was much more fun!
Sarah's Summer Spectacular -- Part I 'My New Job' -- Day 1
I started my new job! I spent the whole day perforating paper, it is pretty boring, but I got pretty good at it. It is so exciting to be working!
